Guns are out !

AHD DRT bottom template / juste avant le shape du DRT

For the worldspeedsailing new attempt , Antoine Albeau
will go with special shapes , introducing the "wind breaker" nose system .

From july to december, three events have been planned .
Canaries , France and new Zealand.
Non less than the biggest windsurfing stars will compete.
Antoine is in the party and promised to kill the record .
AHD shaper Jean Bouldoires cooked him some very special guns,
with the brand new "wind breaker"nose system .
This wind breaker eliminates all wing effect of the nose, breaking
the lift generated when high speed sailing.
The bottom is DRT shaped to liberate the boards and get the maximum speed after planing .
Measurements of the beasts are :
250/36 cm , 250/38, 250/40. OFO is 25,5 cm .
Stay tuned on this very exciting speed program .
for sure great things will happen .

De juillet à décembre, trois événements sont programmés pour tenter
de pulvériser le record du monde de vitesse à la voile .
Canaries , France et Nouvelle Zélande.
Les plus grandes stars du windsurf mondial participeront et
Antoine sera bien évidemment de la fête et a promis d'exploser le record .
Le shaper d'AHD , Jean Bouldoires, lui a cuisiné pour l'occasion
de petits guns trés spéciaux qui introduisent le tout nouveau système "wind breaker" .
Le wind breaker nose, en perturbant l'écoulement du vent autour
du nez de la planche, élimine tout risque d'effet d'aile de celui-ci et donc d'envolée du flotteur .
Le bottom, shapé en DRT, permet au gun de se libérer dès que le planing est atteint en réduisant au minimum la surface mouillée.
Les mesures de ces bêtes :
250/36cm, 250/38, 250/40
OFO : 25,5 cm
Restez branchés sur ce programme de speed.
De grandes choses vont sûrement se passer.

Taty and Tonky, mandate the Cape

Imperial demo of the Frans brothers in light wind conditions .

Nice victory for AHD there in Cape Cod USA.
Taty and Tonky showed their best talent and quiver of tricks
in super light wind conditions .
They took logically the first and second place just in front of Mike Burns and his traditionnal longboard , freestyling like old good times .
Using the ZEN board , Taty was able to realize 360° inside the boom, fin first back to the sail , pirouette jibes and many other crazy tricks.
Nothing less made Taty becoming the new King of the cape .
It seemed to every body that only him had wind in his sail as he was
the only one to get planing.
Last but not least, notice that Taty and Tonky are always competing on AHD production boards all year long.

Intouchables dans ces conditions limites
Taty et Tonky s'imposent sans coup férir au Cap Code , USA.
Jibe pirouette, 360 dans la voile , marche arrière avec l'aileron sorti
dos à la voile ...
Il semblait à tous que Taty disposait d'un vent magique dans sa voile
qui faisait de lui le seul au planing sur sa ZEN .
Rien de moins pour faire que Taty s'adjuge le titre de King of the Cape 2003, suivi de son frére Tonky puis de Mike Burns
qui a rappelé tout le monde au bon vieux temps du freestyle avec sa longboard.
A noter enfin que Taty et Tonky naviguent toute l'année en planches de production, quelles que soient l'épreuve et les conditions.

98 N.T. , impressive victory in Gruissan .

AFW Mike Adair

During the AFW french championship event of Gruissan,
Antoine Albeau and Tom Nagy passed the sentence .

<span class="head">No more than the two first places for AHD
on this french event .

As Antoine simply disgusted his usual challengers , the young
Tom Nagy ( son of the olympic champion Robert Nagy )
took profit of the way wide opened by "Sentenza" Albeau .
Tom realized a great performance taking the second place
with his AHD 98 NT formula too .
The 8-10 knots wind conditions were perfect for the two guys
and their equipment, even if they have probably 20 kilos difference in weight .

Alors qu'Antoine ouvrait la voie à coups de sa 98 NT ,
Tom s'engouffrait dans la brèche et faisait fumer la sienne.
Une sentence implacable .
les deux premières places à Gruissan pour nos deux rédempteurs
armés de leurs AHD Formula 98 NT .
Malgré les quasi 20 kilos qui séparent nos deux gaillards,
leur matos a fait merveille dans les conditions light de 8-10 noeuds.
Il reste comme un goût de poussière occitane dans la bouche des poursuivants.

Maxx ride strikes again in costa brava

Youngster Nicolas Akgazciyan, riding on a production board, got a super nice 3rd place in Costa Brava PWA freestyle qualifier .

Only using production maxxrides , the young Nicolas
performed very well and finished third .

En courant uniquement sur des Maxx rides de série,
le jeune Nicolas se place 3ème de cette épreuve PWA .
