Formula 955 NT , Advanced is in the name

The new formula 955 NT shows its revolutionnary Wind Breaker Nose shape in Paris .<br>

The concept of the wind breaker nose system came validated after several trials on formula prototypes and speed guns.<br>
As the most interesting part of this concept is to break wing effect of the board in speed guns , this particular shape also allows an interesting bottom shape solution on formula boards .<br>
Long , strenghtened , sharp and thick rails are dedicated to upwind performance.<br>
But the bottom center channel linked to the Wind Breaker Nose makes the board liberating before planing. <br>The center scoop line of the channel , much more higher than on the outside rails , also brings all the control needed in full speed downwind harsh conditions.<br>
Note that the profiled speed front aerofoil will be delivered with the board but not fixed from the factory.<br>

<span class="head">La révolutionnaire 955 N.T. enfin dévoilée à Paris</span><br>

Aprés avoir été testé sur plusieurs prototypes de formula et de guns de speed le concept du Wind Breaker Nose a put être validé.<br>
Alors que la plus intéressante partie du concept est de casser l'effet d'aile du nose sur les guns de vitesse , le Wind Breaker Nose
apporte d'autres intéressantes solutions de shape sur les Formula .<br>
Les rails de la 955 N.T. sont tendus, durs, longs et épais, et ainsi entièrement dédiés aux performances en cap .<br>
Mais l'important channel central permet de libérer la board plus tôt au planing et surtout de disposer d'un scoop central avant bien plus haut, ce qui procure un contrôle inégalé dans les descentes au grand largue full speed dans les conditions les plus dures.<br>
A noter que l'aileron avant profilé sera livré avec la 955 N.T. mais ne sera pas fixé d'usine .<br>

Kauli and AHD boys on top in the Freestyle world

Bonaire and overall PWA freestyle ranking available.
Kauli is world vice champion,
3 AHD riders in overall top five including Tonky and Taty and their AHD production boards they used the whole year long.

End of the year with Freestyle PWA tour .<br>
AHD riders scored high with 3 guys in the top five
and a vice champion title for Kauli . <br>
4 AHD riders in the top 6 of Bonaire event.
Note the very good performance fo Nicolas Akgazcyian
who did 6 in Bonaire.
And the unbelievable results of Tonky and Taty who made the maxxrides simply the best production boards of the world in freestyle<br>

Marion Dietrich is French women kiteboarding 2003 champion

Marion did it in La Torche, Brittany , with her Nostro 133.<br>
Read her report from the inside.

ÿ?Many women suscribed and with a raising level I didnÿ?t even think to be on the podium.<br>
I just changed my kites and I didnÿ?t really know them.
Anyway La Torche is a wonderful spot, wild with huge waves.
The wind was off-shore blowing ten knots, so we went on a B spot, southern.<br>
My first heat was really bad, in a gusty wind.
I didnÿ?t succeed to come in, but I still managed to finish at the 2nd place that allowed me to go to the next heat.<br>
From the 2nd heat, all my energy went back and I was feeling strong like steel as the wind picked up with some pretty waves.
I went hard from this time and had really good time until the final.
I will remind this final for ever.<br>
The crowd was on fire and I went mad too, shouting on the water as
I was under high voltage.<br>
Itÿ?s so good to win!<br>
Anyway I was really impressed with the women level as it raised exponentially this year and I was far to think that I would get this place.
I hope this title will help me to follow the pro tour next year.
Iÿ?m really motivated !<br>

"Vu le nombre de femmes inscrites et le niveau en nette progression, je ne pensais même pas être sur le podium. Surtout que je venais juste de changer d'ailes, et que je ne les connaissais pas encore très bien.<br>
En tout cas, la Torche est un spot magnifique, sauvage, avec des vagues monstrueuses !<br>
Le vent étant off-shore avec des pointes à 10 noeuds, nous avons couru sur un spot de repli, plus au sud.<br>
Mon premier heat était vraiment mal engagé, avec un vent irrégulier. Je n'arrivais pas à rentrer dans mon heat, mais j'ai quand même finit 2ème, ce qui m'a permis de passer au heat suivant.<br>
A partir du 2ème heat, j'avais une pêche d'enfer, le vent s'est établi
avec quelques petites vagues sympas à surfer et je me suis vraiment éclatée à partir de ce heat là jusqu'à la finale.<br>
Je pense que la finale restera à jamais gravée dans ma mémoire : la
foule était en délire, moi-même, trop contente de mon heat, je hurlais sur l'eau...j'étais survoltée...ça fait du bien de gagner !<br>
En tout cas, j'étais impressionnée du niveau des filles qui ont
progressées grave en un an de temps et je ne pensais vraiment pas pouvoir accéder à cette place !<br>
J'espère que ce titre me permettra de pouvoir suivre le Pro Tour l'année prochaine...je suis hyper motivée !<br>
