Light Wind Speed Board

Our « Concept Shapes », are created to push diverse programs to their limits.
After the Seal Concept, developed from the ÿ?Fish programÿ?(that has become a true revolution!), and the AHD Summer Board developed from the Stand Up Longboard Winsurfing (that is truly fashion nowadaysÿ?) here is the AHD Light Wind Speed Board.

Today, to perform in light winds, you hear about Formula boards, 1meter width, 12m sails, 70cm fins or about an eventual come back of the old 380cm dagger race boardsÿ?
The High Level is closed to the 50 knots, waiting for unique, rare but optimal conditions, only for few top ridersÿ?
We offer you to be the fastest in 7 ÿ? 15 knots of wind, with a 7.6m, 41cm fin and a compact 145 litres board.


The ultimate performance accessible for all! That is the AHD Light Wind Speed Board.
The short shape 233cm long is totally devoted to Speed! The Out line is stretched, 60,5cm one foot off width, with a maximal of 86cm. The planning is immediate with the lightest gust, resulting from stability and perfect shapeÿ?s position on water. Pure slalom rails boost the stretched but full curved rocker line with a light kick and high nose, as to offer a down wind speed with no compromise. The time you fought to stay in zone when wind was too light is over! You just need to go down and let the shape accelerating. Every thing seems light and easy! Speed is increasing!! Check the video and watch the extraordinary pure contact of the board on the water! Watch how the 7.6 does not move! It is light, but it goes fast!

We have fixed a Full Carbon hand shaped dagger on the board. Its shape is optimal to go upwind or reach the windy area.
It is indispensable to fully enjoy the speed potential of the concept shape. Easy to use with the foot, it allows to go up facing the wind or simply to get the right placement during the ÿ?no windÿ? instants. Why loosing time?
Just go fast!
As soon as the dagger is stored, the shape takes off to reach amazing speed never felt before. No needs to be over powered, the 7.6 and the 41cm fins naturally accelerating and never saturate when wind picks up. Be concentrate on your maximum speed, you know the dagger is there for returns.


On each side of the deck, structure has been worked, with large ÿ?stringersÿ?.
The entire board is stiffer. It flies from chop to chop, accelerating with no end, staying stable on its very compacted out line.

We have discovered another kind of speed, fine, with no needs of large and bulky sails and fins

Aujourdÿ?hui pour être performant dans le vent léger, on vous parle de formula, 1 mètre de large, de 12m de voile, dÿ?aileron de 70cm ou encore du retour des flotteurs de 3m80 à dériveÿ?
Le Haut Niveau se rapproche des 50 nÿ?uds dans lÿ?attente de conditions uniques, rares et optimales et à la portée dÿ?une poignée dÿ?Elitesÿ?
Nous vous offrons dÿ?être le plus rapide de 7 à 15 nÿ?uds avec une 7.5m, 41cm dÿ?aileron et un flotteur compact de 145 litres.

Le Shape court de 233cm est entièrement dévoué à la vitesse ! Lÿ?Out Line est tendu, avec une largeur à 30 de 60,5cm pour une largeur totale de 86cm. Le planning est immédiat au moindre souffle, et les appuis stables sur une assiette optimale. De vrais rails de Slalom viennent booster le scoop très tendu mais en courbe constante légèrement kické sur lÿ?arrière et relevé sur lÿ?avant pour offrir une vitesse de descente sans compromis. Fini les bords carrés pour rester sur zone quand cÿ?est trop juste, il suffit dÿ?abattre et de se laisser glisser. Tout parait léger, ça glisse !!! Regardez sur la vidéo le contact extraordinairement pure du flotteur sur lÿ?eau !! Regardez comme la 7.6 ne bronche pas !! Cÿ?est Light et pourtant ça accélère fort !

Nous avons placé une dérive Full Carbon shapée main dans une forme parfaite pour remonter au vent ou se replacer dans les zones de souffle. Elle est indispensable pour profiter pleinement du potentiel vitesse de la Board.
Facilement manoeuvrable au pied, elle permet de remonter face au vent, ou tout simplement de profiter des trous dÿ?air pour se replacer, pourquoi perdre du temps ? Autant foncer ! Et une fois la dérive rentrée, le Shape re-décolle pour atteindre des vitesses jamais atteintes dans ce genre de conditions. Pas besoin dÿ?être surtoilé, la 7.6 et lÿ?aileron de 41cm glissent naturellement et ne demandent quÿ?à accélérer si ça monte. Concentrez vous sur votre vitesse max, vous savez que la dérive est là pour le retour.

De chaque côté du pont, la structure a été travaillée, avec de grands « stringers ».
Tout le flotteur sÿ?en voit rigidifié. Il vole de clapot en clapot, accélérant sans fin en restant très stable sur son Out Line très compact.
En travaillant sur ce Concept Shape entièrement dédié à la vitesse dans un créneau peu habituel, nous avons découvert une autre glisse, sans puissance, sans besoin dÿ?ailerons et de voiles immenses et encombrantes.
Un plaisir absolu pour tous, physiquement et matériellement plus accessible.
